László Puskás, PhD, DSc
Dr. Puskás received a Master Degree in Biology (1994) and a PhD in chemistry (1997) at the Medical Faculty of the University of Szeged, Hungary. He spent 2 years as a post-doc fellow in the field of biotechnology in Research Innovative Technology for the Earth (RITE) Kyoto, Japan. He has been the head of the Laboratory for Functional Genomics in the Biological Research in Szeged, Hungary since 1999. He became the scientific advisor of Avidin Ltd in 2002 in Hungary, the chief executive officer of Avicor, a spin-off company of HAS, BRC in 2005. He is the author of more than 80 scientific papers and the main investigator of 7 patents.
